Jenga Boom
Jenga Boom is a new take on the classic game of Jenga. It's still all about stacking, teetering, and knocking the tower over, but there's an action twist that adds excitement and unpredictability to the gameplay. The base of the game looks like a bomb. Raise the base's platform, stack the Jenga blocks on top, and pull the fuse cord all the way out. The first player presses the fuse button to start the timer and takes a block from somewhere in the middle of the Jenga tower and places it on top of the tower without knocking over the tower. When that player's turn is over, he or she presses the fuse button again to turn off the timer. Then it's the next player's turn to start the timer, move a block, and stop the timer. Play continues until eventually the "bomb" goes off and the tower of Jenga blocks tumbles over. The winner is the player who successfully placed a block on top of the tower before the tower "explodes."Jenga Boom comes with 36 hardwood Jenga blocks, a toy denotator, a stacking sleeve, and instructions. The game is for one or more players.
Jenga Boom is for ages 6 and up.
Jenga Boom is a wonderful skill-and-action game. Parents and grandparents may
remember games like this, such as Dynamite Shack and Time Bomb. This is a
classic play pattern made all the more fun by the pressure from the
timer mechanism. Jenga Boom is an engaging, new way to play Jenga that
makes a great addition to any game collection.
We like that on the package, Hasbro makes sure to let you know that this product does not actually explode.
This classic family game has been given an explosive update! In
Jenga Boom you'll need a steady hand to pull out the blocks without
toppling the tower but you have to move quickly. Each turn you start the
detonator and if you take too long, the stack explodes!
